Police said the unidentified driver was eastbound when he suffered a medical issue, crossed the median and struck an oncoming car in the westbound lane. Our thoughts are with the injured victims in hopes of a full recovery. Most of these Connecticut truck accidents are preventable.
UPDATE: I-84 still closed at Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike after car hits According to police reports, the incident happened around 7:30 p.m. on the westbound side of I-84 at Exit 18 to Highland Avenue and Main Street.
